We often think of the wonderful and crazy experiences we have with our pets, the many changes we've gone through, and the deep sharing which has bonded us for life. We will never lose the pets we love, even in death. Their love leaves a lasting inprint in our memory. We are comforted in knowing our lives have been enriched by sharing their love. It is important for you to be able to express the loss of your pet, which is gone from your life, but never from your heart. You are not alone in your grief. We can help you through your loss and assist others in your family in sharing their loss.

At AMVS, we want to guide you through the emotional journey you are undertaking. We offer emotional, serious illness & euthanasia support, aid in decision making, provide grief support group therapy, and provide referral resources. There is no charge for the support groups. However, we do require a simple pre-screening visit (no charge) with our counselor, Joshua Nacht, prior to group attendence. Please call 303.678.8844 to schedule your pre-screening visit.

"Losing a beloved pet can be incredibly difficult. Grief counseling support groups can assist everyone in the pet's family, particularly those who live alone with their pets, in sharing the experience of grief and loss while working through the healing process." - Joshua Nacht
