Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists located in Longmont & Boulder, CO is seeking outstanding veterinary technicians dedicated to providing the highest quality skilled nursing care in internal medicine and surgery.  AMVS is a multi-board certified doctor specialty practice including surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine that provides 24-hour quality care for our patients. The right candidate must have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, maintain good working relationships with a variety of personalities and possess the ability to handle clients in emotionally intense situations.  A good sense of humor is essential.  Must be a self-starter, able to effectively utilize down-time and multi-task.  Applicant should be proficient in inducing/monitoring/recovering for anesthesia. A strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals is appreciated. We take pride in our nursing care for our patients, so that must be a top priority for any applicant.

Our facility is equipped with digital radiology, in-house lab capabilities, multiple anesthesia machines, a critical care ventilator, ETCO2, ECG, BP, SPO2 monitoring and many more tools to enhance gold standard patient care monitoring.  In-house training and continuing education opportunities provided. Commitment to learning and updating skills and knowledge is required.  A minimum of one year experience working as an nternal medicine, emergency, oncology, or surgery nurse is required.
