Emergency Veterinary Technician
Animal Emergency and Critical Care in Longmont, CO is seeking outstanding veterinary technicians dedicated to providing the highest quality skilled nursing care. We are located close to both Boulder and Denver, CO. OVERNIGHT, WEEKEND, AND HOLIDAY hours a requirement. AECC is a multi board certified doctor specialty practice including surgery, internal medicine, radiology and emergency medicine that provides 24 hour quality care for our patients. Come and use the skills and knowledge that you went to school for! The right candidate must have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure and maintain good working relationships with a variety of personalities and possess the ability to handle clients in emotionally intense situations. A good sense of humor is essential. Must also be a self-starter, able to effectively utilize down-time and multi- task. Commitment to learning and updating skills and knowledge is required. Our facility is equipped with digital radiology, in house lab capabilities, critical care ventilators, ETCO2, ECG, BP, pulse ox monitoring and many more tools to enhance gold standard patient care monitoring. In-house training and continuing education opportunities provided. 2 years experience or RVT/CVT license is preferred.

Surgery Veterinary Technician
Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists located in Longmont & Boulder, CO is seeking outstanding veterinary technicians dedicated to providing the highest quality skilled nursing care in surgery. AMVS is a multi board certified doctor specialty practice including surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine that provides 24 hour quality care for our patients. The right candidate must have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, maintain good working relationships with a variety of personalities and possess the ability to handle clients in emotionally intense situations. A good sense of humor is essential. Must be a self-starter, able to effectively utilize down-time and multi-task. Applicant should be proficient in inducing/monitoring/recovering for anesthesia. A strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals is appreciated. We take pride in our nursing care for our patients, so that must be a top priority for any applicant.
Our facility is equipped with digital radiology, in-house lab capabilities, multiple anesthesia machines, a critical care ventilator, ETCO2, ECG, BP, SPO2 monitoring and many more tools to enhance gold standard patient care monitoring. In-house training and continuing education opportunities provided. Commitment to learning and updating skills and knowledge is required. A minimum of one year experience working as an internal medicine, emergency, oncology, or surgery nurse is required.
