Kate Schafer
 Kate has lived in Colorado for most of her life, with exception to the 3 years she spent in New York pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Mercy College. Upon graduating she moved home and began working for Aspen Meadow’s Emergency Team. She joined the internal medicine team in October of 2008 after working for about a year in a pain management practice.
Kate loves nursing her patients back to health, and works hard to keep them as comfortable and pain free as possible. Turning a critical case around and sending home a healthy family member is her favorite part of her job.
Outside of work, Kate’s interests include hiking with her husband and her German Shepherd mix, enjoying the company of her friends and co-workers, taking in a Broadway musical, and spending quality time with her family.
