Veterinary Nurse

Leah moved from Minnesota to Colorado in August of 2005.  Leah began in general health practice, working for five years in Minnesota. The following three years, she focused more in internal medicine working in Colorado Springs.  She joined the Aspen Meadows Internal Medicine team in 2009.  Leah is currently working on completing courses to become a certified veterinary technician.

Leah has always loved working with animals and experiencing the joy of helping them feel better.  She feels internal medicine is special because of the extra care and time it takes to break down tough situations and come up with ways to improve quality of life.

Leah loves the mountains and the increased amount of sunny days Colorado has to offer.  She takes full advantage of Colorado's hiking, white water rafting and rock climbing with her family (husband Mark and 3 dogs Hunter, Honey, and Magoo).  She also enjoys horse back riding and running. She can be found in the mountains when she is not saving patients!
