Sarah was born just outside of Chicago but raised in Boulder County since 1990. She graduated with a degree in Applied Science of Veterinary Medicine at Front Range Community College through the Veterinary Technician program in August 2006. She then took the national exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Sarah joined the Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists surgery team just out of school.
Having gone through many surgeries herself, she empathizes with her patients and gives her best to provide them with all the comforts and care they need and deserve. Working with animals is very rewarding to her. Another great aspect of the veterinary field is the opportunity to evolve both personally and professionally and to continue to learn every day.
Sarah enjoys swimming with her 2 year old dog Miakoda, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who she rescued at 7 days old when she arrived at AMVS. When she is not swimming with Miakoda and her boyfriend Eliot, they are spending time hiking or at home with their cat Charney who loves to be brushed and to lie in the sun.
