Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Aaron recently moved to Colorado to further his veterinary experience and also to enjoy the mountains. He graduated from Bucknell University in 2005 with a BA in Environmental Science and a minor in Biology. During his undergraduate years, Aaron focused on animal behavior research with honey bees. After working for three years in a mixed large/small animal practice in Pennsylvania, he joined the Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists surgical team in 2008.
Aaron enjoys the medical challenges of the veterinary field. The surgery and critical care aspect of AMVS are particularly interesting to him, as they push him to learn something new with each patient. As each day proves to be another rewarding experience, Aaron hopes to graduate from vet school and own his own practice someday. Aaron spends his free time on the slopes snowboarding or enjoying the trails on his mountain bike. The great outdoors has always been a past time for Aaron. As a new resident of Colorado, he is excited for all of the new opportunities the mountains bring.
